@Jeff...

So eating fast food, and playing video games is good for you? I'm not saying that is what YOU do to feel good, but E isn't talking about making the logically "right" decision. He is referring to what will better you as a person. Sleeping late feels good, but will it help you grow as a person, strengthen character, learn self discipline? I doubt it. He is saying that sometimes you have to give up the little things in life that are comforting you, and step out the box from time to time in order to progress as an individual. Just something to reconsider, if you have an open mind.

Yeah. So if you're out (or in another city) here are your best bets.

1) Mexican food (minus any bread).

Mexican food is the closest thing you can conveniently get to this diet. They have mincemeat and beans in most of their stuff. Get some guacamole (which is okay too) and you should have a decent meal.

2) Steak

If you're at a restaurant which sells steak (many) then you can get steak and vegetables (usually broccoli and carrots). A good meal. You may need to pay extra for the vegetables but it's only a couple of bucks. Worth it in my eyes. Don't get the potato that usually comes with the steak.

3) Deli meat from a supermarket.

This is what I do if I'm at university and cannot sit down for a meal. I buy lean breast chicken from the supermarket deli (at the shopping center near my university) and eat that, along with a lot of water. Fills me up. If you're really keen, also buy a carrot from the supermarket as well.

4) Sashimi

This is if you're rich (I have not done this). This is basically sushi without the rice. Quite expensive to eliminate the hunger.

If none of that is available then I don't eat. Better than messing the diet up. I'm sure there are more options... but nothing off the top of my head.

Cheers for the heads up.

And you're exactly right. This just forces you to actually weigh up everything on paper (or on the computer) rather than having to deal with mass confusion.

a couple of those links are broken - forgot to add the "http://"

I really like this idea. I think the really valuable part would be going through the process of sitting and thinking about all the factors involved and how important each one is to you. I dare say that by the time you've gone through that whole process you'll know what the computed outcome will probably be anyway.

Was looking for the overall package (I could have had protein powder, but that won't help you increase size). Milk is well known for that (just google the term 'GOMAD'). Again, I should have accompanied it with weight lifting.

As for comments, just had a look and I cannot force an email to a reply. Perhaps there is an option for you to tick a box saying you want replies back in email?

Will keep a look out for wordpress plug ins that can achieve that goal, cheers for the suggestion.

Surely there are better sources of protein with less fat. Btw, if you can, provide an option to receive emails when other people reply. Otherwise I have no clue if you've responded unless i come back to the page.

Re: 4 liters of milk.

Was an experiment. Was too skinny at the time (same height as I am now but weighing 60kg). I wanted to put on muscle so drank all the milk. But I idiotically didn't work out.
